London Pride Parade
The Pride London Festival is coming up - July 11th - 20th, culminating with the Pride Parade on Sunday July 20th from noon until 3:00 PM. Parishes and Individuals are welcome to join in the parade with Proud Anglicans of Huron. St. Paul's Cathedral is also generously sponsoring a vendor tent in the park and we are looking for volunteers to staff the tent. Details regarding our place in the parade route are still forthcoming so if you plan to walk in the parade or you are able to take a shift at the tent, you can let us know by filling out this short form and we will keep you apprised as details are released. Hope to see you there!

Good News from Camp Huron:
Camp is off to a great start! We still have spaces, especially in our week long sessions August 3 - 9 & August 10 - 16.
There are also limited spaces in Day Trippers a Monday to Friday program for children who join a cabin group during the day, from breakfast to dinner. It's proving to be a great way for campers who live nearby to experience camp!

The Essex Deanery Lay Leadership Training Classes: Lay leadership courses for 2025 and early 2026.
These classes will be held in person at Canterbury College. Classes are from 10:00 am - 2:30 pm with 30 minutes for lunch.
We have partnered with Canterbury College for the courses and they are providing us with the technology support to also bring the classes by zoom. Please join us for one or for all of the classes.
This year we have decided to focus on the core subjects.

The Essex Deanery Lay Leadership Classes are invited to join the Fall AFP Conference on zoom on Saturday October 4th from 9:30 am - 12:30 pm.
The Rev’d Dr. Lisa Wang, from the Parish of the Transfiguration and Developer for Catechumenal Ministries will conduct a workshop entitled, Bless the Lord, O my soul: Morning and Evening Prayer in the Life of God's People
This workshop offers an introduction to the divine office, the ancient "liturgy of the hours" that Anglicans have come to know and love as Morning Prayer (Matins), Evening Prayer (Evensong) and Night Prayer (Compline).
