We started the Blanket Ministry in 2011. The Church has provided the wool for people to knit 8 inch squares for many years now and we have been making them into blankets. More than 700 blankets have been blessed before given out. We make smaller Prayer blankets for the lap, single bed blankets and double bed blankets. Our recipients include, nursing homes and hospitals, Optimism Place and to Shelterlink in 2021 we provided all 15 young residents with their own single bed blankets they can take with them when they leave. Blankets are also given to those who live at home. Our blankets are for anyone who needs one. Please just ask.
