    Al-Ahli Anglican Episcopal Hospital is the oldest hospital in Gaza, founded in 1882 by the Church of England. It receives no funding whatsoever by Hamas (contrary to some reports). PWRDF has transferred the initial $30,000 We have supported this hospital for years as a partner, and are actively accepting donations for Al-Ahli Arab Hospital through the PWRDF Gaza Hospital Appeal.
    How you can help: To support the al-Ahli Arab Hospital during this time of crisis, please donate online to our Gaza Hospital Emergency Appeal.     Giving a Voice to Our Youth – Planning for 2024

    Gathering to have a conversation about what families and youth would like to see happening in our deanery.  We will share a meal together, a time of fellowship and plan for future events or activities.
    We hope to see you there.  This event is open to youth, families with children, youth leaders and clergy.

  7. The Book Nook at Holy Trinity St. Stephen's Memorial -  (727 Southdale Rd. E.) will be closed December 23rd and 30th for holidays. 
     
EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES:
  • The Church of the Holy Saviour in Waterloo, Ontario seeks a person with experience or familiarity with traditional Anglican choral and keyboard music leadership.
    The congregation is vibrant and growing. The sanctuary has a well-maintained 1987 Casavant Pipe Organ (2 manuals, 18 stops). The Chancel Choir (singing weekly) has 22 SATB voices. With one rehearsal midweek, one before the service, and one main Sunday service (alternating Book of Alternative Services and Book of Common Prayer), monthly evensong, special services, in addition to overseeing the Choral Scholar program, see to the maintenance of the organ and piano, and weekly meetings with clergy leadership, it is estimated that this part-time position will demand 15-17 hours a week.
    The appointee will be expected to meet annually with the rector to evaluate past achievements and explore a vision for the future. Vacation is provided, and a benefits package is optional. Remuneration will be commensurate with experience and qualifications as described in the RCCO Salary Guidelines. Applications (which will be treated in strictest confidence) are now being received.

  • Trinity Anglican Church in Cottam, is searching for a friendly, reliable and motivated Children/Youth coordinator.
    In this position, you will be responsible for a range of duties including developing lesson plans, assigning homework, responding to issues, and addressing children/youth needs.
    Employment requirements:
    - High school diploma or equivalent qualifications.
    - A minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role (if possible).
    - Proven experience as an educator is advantageous (if possible).
    - Becoming an active Church member.
    - Good understanding of planning and developing lesson plans.
    - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    - Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint and other social media.
